"God's Eye"
This might seem familiar from your childhood
days. This one never seems to go" out
of style!"
What you will
need
red yarn
green yarn
two popsicle sticks
scissors
white glue (any kind will do)
How to make it
Glue the two popsicle sticks together so that
they form a cross.
Take the red yarn, and glue or knot it to the
starting point (middle) of the cross. Start
winding the yarn over and around one of the
"spokes", then all the others for a
while until about 4-5 rows of the red are
completed.
Now take the green yarn, knot it so it is fastened
to the red yarn, and do the same for 4-5
rows-wrapping the yarn around the sticks.
Continue doing this until the sticks are pretty
much complete.
Glue or tie the end piece of the string to the
stick where it ends, and try to tuck it under the
wrapped yarn so that it is hidden.
Tie a piece of small yarn at the end of one of the
sticks as a hanger, and you have a Christmas
"God's Eye!"
